MORFOLIA is Elena Bjuan’s debut album (Release: 16th October).

MORFOLIA is an Album conceived as a musical diary — a personal journey through sound that brings together Elena’s Valencian roots with jazz, improvisation, and contemporary music.

Through trumpet, voice, synthesiser sounds, electronics, and loops, stories and memories unfold. Castanets and traditional Valencian elements meet experimentation, as unconventional rhythms intertwine with acoustic and electronic textures, creating an intimate and creative musical landscape.

“The first single, ‘The Garden Soil’, draws in both those who listen to music purely for pleasure and professional musicians interested in odd time signatures.”

“Against this rhythmic complexity, the voice unfolds in long notes and flowing phrases, while the castanets return to complete the accompaniment.”
